Montgomery Public Schools is proud to introduce the 2025–2026 Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council, a distinguished group of 15 student leaders selected to represent the voice, experiences, and perspectives of the MPS student body.
The students were formally recognized during the Montgomery County Board of Education meeting and took their oath of office. MPS Superintendent Dr. Zickeyous Byrd charged these scholars to remember the importance of the role they are stepping into and the impact their voices will have on the future of the district.
The Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council provides opportunities for students to share feedback, discuss important issues affecting their schools, and participate in leadership development experiences throughout the year.
