Alabama Accountability Act
On June 9, 2015, Governor Robert Bentley signed into law the Alabama Accountability Act 2015, which sets forth new flexibility requirements for school systems and schools. The Act also includes a provision for financial assistance through an income tax credit to a parent who transfers a student from a public school to a non-failing or non-public school of the parent's choice.
