Montgomery Public Schools (MPS) is excited to share information about the Legacy Scholarship, a significant scholarship opportunity available to MPS seniors this spring.

The Equal Justice Initiative (EJI) will award $10,000 scholarships to 36 graduating MPS seniors who plan to pursue postsecondary education. Multiple students will be selected from each MPS high school, ensuring broad representation across the district.

The Legacy Scholarship is designed to support students as they take the next step in their educational journey. In addition to financial assistance, the scholarship recognizes students’ commitment to academic achievement, leadership, and community engagement.

Eligible seniors may apply through one of two application pathways. Students are encouraged to review the requirements carefully and submit all materials by the designated deadline.

MPS is proud to partner with the Equal Justice Initiative to expand access to higher education and support students in achieving their future goals.
