Join Us for the MPS Back-to-School Bash! Montgomery Public Schools is kicking off the 2026-2027 school year with our annual Back-to-School Bash on Saturday, August 1, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Multiplex at Cramton Bowl.

Join us in officially welcoming Bianca Jackson as our new head girls basketball coach at Carver High School! Bianca Jackson is a Montgomery native and former five-star standout who graduated from Brewbaker Technology Magnet High School. In 2017, Jackson earned Alabama Gatorade Player of the Year and Alabama Miss Basketball honors. She began her collegiate career at University of South Carolina before transferring to Florida State University, where she emerged as one of the Seminoles’ top guards and leaders. Jackson joined Alabama State University women’s basketball staff as a graduate assistant in 2024 and was promoted to assistant coach for the 2025–26 season. She is the daughter of former Alabama State University head coaches Freda Freeman-Jackson and Lewis Jackson. Welcome to the Wolverine Family Bianca!
