MPS will host a Special Education Job Fair this Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the MPS Leadership Center (720 Grove Street). MPS is seeking special education professionals for Pre-K–12. On-site interviews will be conducted. Please bring resumes, transcripts, and professional attire. New permanent full-time hires are eligible for a $3,000 recruitment bonus. ACT Bootcamp Partnership: Supporting MPS Students ASU GEAR UP is proud to support Montgomery Public Schools by partnering with MasteryPrep to provide a comprehensive ACT bootcamp for all 11th-grade students. This collaboration is designed to provide MPS students with elite testing strategies and a firsthand look at campus life. While all bootcamps run from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, specific dates vary by campus. Please check with your scholar's school for the exact dates of their scheduled bootcamp.
Alabama is preparing to issue SUN Bucks again for the 2025-2026 school year. If your family has moved or your address has changed, please contact your child’s school to update their information in PowerSchool before March 2nd. The cards will be mailed to the address we have on file for your child. If your address hasn’t changed, no action is needed. For more information, click here. Remember to update your information before March 2nd, only if your address has changed since school enrollment.

Montgomery Public Schools is closely monitoring the weather in coordination with local emergency management officials. The safety of our students, staff, and families is our top priority. Based on the forecast we have decided that Monday, January 26, will be an asynchronous day of learning for all students. This will ensure that bus riders, walkers, and staff are not exposed to dangerously cold conditions. Students should be prepared to engage in asynchronous learning, with instructions provided by their teachers.
