Alabama 21 clcc soaring beyond expectations

Montgomery Public Schools is expanding after-school learning opportunities through the federally funded 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) program.

The program provides students with engaging academic enrichment and enrichment activities beyond the regular school day through evidence-based instruction, project-based learning, family engagement, service learning, and other hands-on experiences that help bring learning to life.

Participating Schools

Flowers Elementary School

  • After-school programming Monday-Friday

Bellingrath, Capitol Heights, Goodwyn, and McKee Middle Schools

  • After-school programming Monday–Thursday

Programs will operate during the school year while Montgomery Public Schools is in session and for several weeks during the summer.

Families should contact their child's school for registration information and program schedules. Participating schools will also share updates through their websites, social media channels, robocalls, and other school communications.

Public Review Notice

The public is invited to review the 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant application. The application is available through the Alabama State Department of Education's eGrants Management System or by contacting the Alabama State Department of Education. A copy may also be requested through the Montgomery Public Schools Federal Programs Department.
