Montgomery Public Schools (MPS) is officially opening its doors to students living outside the district's zones for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. This initiative provides expanded opportunities for non-resident students to access specialized programming and traditional K-12 environments within the district.
Key Enrollment Windows
The application window for the Cyber Intelligence Academy (C.I.A.) Magnet at Park Crossing and the MPS K-12 Virtual Program are currently open.
Available Programs
Non-resident students may apply for placement in the following:
Cyber Intelligence Academy (C.I.A.) Magnet at Park Crossing: A specialized program focusing on cyber law, digital forensics, and artificial intelligence governance.
MPS K-12 Virtual School: An online alternative to the traditional classroom. Chromebooks are provided; students must have home internet access.
District-Wide Opportunities: Non-resident applications will also be accepted for all K-12 magnet, IB, and traditional schools.
