MPS ACCESS/Virtual Program will begin accepting applications for the 2025-2026 school year through May 30th. The program is open to all students in grades 9-12 who are on track to graduate with their cohort and have passed all coursework. The MPS ACCESS/Virtual Program utilizes a flexible learning model where students can take all the coursework that is required in a traditional classroom setting, online. The Montgomery County Board of Education (MCBOE) is pleased to announce the finalists for the Montgomery Public Schools (MPS) superintendent position. The finalists for the MPS superintendent position have demonstrated strong leadership in their respective districts, bringing a range of expertise in educational leadership, student achievement, and district management.

Due to expected inclement weather on Tuesday, January 21, and Wednesday 22, 2025, all MPS schools and offices will observe a virtual schedule. The district will be virtual on both days and all after-school activities, which include athletic events, will be canceled.
MPS students and teachers will follow virtual learning schedules. MPS employees will receive specific virtual work instructions from their direct supervisors.
