Families will now begin receiving messages and updates directly from their child's teachers, coaches, and school staff—all in one place through the MPS app or a secure web experience.
Beginning in the 2026-2027 school year, all schools will be required to use Rooms for two-way communication.
Rooms makes it easier than ever to stay connected with your child’s school by providing:
- Messages delivered by text, push notification, or email
- One login for all school and district communication
- A single inbox for classroom updates, announcements, and direct messages
- Access through the mobile app or web
- Automatic translation into your preferred language
Getting Started:
- Watch for messages and announcements from your school
- Click the link in any message to respond or follow up
- Update your notification settings to choose how and when you're notified
