ATTN: Scholars Participating in Dual Enrollment @ AUM
The AUM fall semester is set to begin on Monday. AUM requires two-step authentication through the DUO phone app to access the MPS online systems. The best solution would be for scholars to log into their AUM accounts from home, where they can complete the authentication on their phones. If they allow cookies on their devices, the authentication will last for two weeks. Scholars would have to reauthenticate every two weeks.

Thank you for your hard work in supporting scholars wear their uniforms daily. While we still have a few concerns with uniform wear for some, the majority of our scholars are dressed for success daily. We are striving for 100% uniform wear daily. MPS schools will not be allowing scholars to wear jeans every Friday. However, schools do hold the autonomy to designate special Fridays for jean wear. BTW will announce such special days accordingly.
Please ensure your Yellow Jacket is in school uniform daily.

This law, largely banning devices during instructional time. At Booker T. Washington, all scholars are required to secure their cell phones and /or smart watches in their YONDRs daily. Every scholar is required to bring his/her YONDR to school every day. We will conduct YONDR checks at intake and at random periods during the day. Please support and encourage your scholar to bring and use his/her YONDR daily.

Entering the BTW Campus: Bell Rd from Vaughn Rd
Turn right at the first entrance off Bell Rd onto the campus (this is the entrance before the traffic light)
Entering the BTW Campus: Bell Rd from Troy Hwy
Turn left off Bell Rd at the third entrance onto the campus (this is the entrance past the traffic light that is in front of the school)
***All cars will follow the same directions for afternoon pickup. Please follow the flow of traffic to depart from the campus, which will be to continue driving around the school and exit by the gym. No cars will exit from the school at the traffic light.
All drop-offs and pick-ups will be at the entrance/exit under the covering just past the Blackbox Theatre doors. Designees will be present to support.
Only staff will be allowed to enter the campus in the mornings. There will be security helping with the flow of traffic at all three locations. The exit at the traffic light will be blocked off.
