Good morning, Car Rider Parents! Thank you for helping us to unload 400 students in 20 minutes. You are out of this world! As a reminder, please ensure that students have all items ready, and they are prepared to exit the vehicle. Lastly, the use of cellphones is strictly prohibited during arrival and dismissal.

Great first day drop off, Bear Family! Here are a few reminders for dismissal:
- Do not line up more than one hour prior to dismissal.
- Please have your child's name hanging from your mirror and not on the dashboard.
- Pull as close as possible to the car in front of you.
- Watch the teacher directing traffic.

Good afternoon, Bear Family!
This is your principal, Dr. Williams, with a few updates related to Back to School.
First, I would like to say thank you to our diligent parents who notified me about not receiving notifications via phone and email. The district has updated to a new mass notification system, and we are back launching!
Thank you for attending Open House! if you were not able to attend, please do not despair. You can expect an email from your child's teacher and a copy of the Open House presentation today.
This year you will receive, by email, a monthly newsletter from me titled "The Bear Cave: Parent Edition." The newsletter is an easy way for me to support a collaborative relationship between school and home. Some of the information in the current newsletter has lapsed as it was initially sent August 4th through the old notification system.
Lastly, please plan to share my Welcome to School phone call with your child. A call will be placed to all students tonight at 6:30. If you need any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. For your reference, a copy of this message has been sent to your email.
To the moon and beyond,
Dr. Williams
