Good evening, Bear Family. This is your principal, Dr. Williams, with a few updates. One, today we practiced a fire drill. If your child communicates this activity to you, please know there was not a real threat. Two, if you are following health content in the media, you may be aware that the identification of COVID-19 cases is on the rise. Please know that we are exercising universal precautions. In addition to encouraging hand washing among faculty and students, desks and chairs are sanitized daily in the grades K-1. Additionally, students in grades 2-5 complete this task prior to transitioning between morning and afternoon classes. Lastly, our custodial staff sanitizes the classroom when students are out of the room for more than 45 minutes. Update three, MPS' CNP department has a new price listing for visitor lunches. This includes children and adults. A copy will be forwarded by your child’s teacher. To the moon and beyond, Dr. Williams
