We value your input as we work to ensure our school counseling program meets the needs of all Wilson Elementary students and families.
Please take a few minutes to complete our School Counseling Needs Assessment. Your feedback will help our school counselor identify the areas where students and families may need additional support and will guide the development of counseling lessons, small groups, programs, and resources throughout the school year.
The assessment is brief and confidential, and your feedback is very important to us.

The first day of school is TOMORROW, Monday, August 10th! 🎉 We are excited to welcome our Rangers back for an amazing school year filled with opportunities to LEAD, LEARN, and SHINE!
As we prepare for a great first day, please review these important reminders.
⭐ Attendance Matters — Start Strong!
Please make attendance a priority beginning on Day 1! Being at school every day and on time helps students establish strong routines and sets the tone for a successful year.
🚗 Morning Arrival Reminders
All parents may walk their child into the building tomorrow (Monday) ONLY.
Kindergarten parents may walk their child in on Monday and Tuesday.
Wednesday is Independence Day! Beginning Wednesday, students should enter the building independently without a parent/guardian escort.
There is NO PARKING in the front drop-off lane. This is a DROP & GO area.
Pre-K arrival is located on the side of the school closest to the YMCA under the white awning.
All families should enter campus using the YMCA road entrance to help us maintain a safe and steady traffic flow.
NEW THIS YEAR: Students will enter through the second set of doors closest to the lunchroom, NOT the doors near the front office.
When entering the carpool line, please pull forward as far as possible before stopping. This helps us unload more students safely and keeps traffic moving.
🚙 Afternoon Dismissal — Please Read Carefully
Our enrollment has increased, and we always have a significant increase in car riders during the first days of school. Please expect longer wait times this week.
For the safety of our students and staff:
All parents picking up students must enter through the YMCA entrance and join the carpool line.
We DO NOT allow walk-up dismissal.
Parents/guardians must remain in their vehicles at all times.
If you walk to the front of the school, staff will not dismiss your child to you. You will be directed to return to your vehicle and enter the carpool line.
Student check-outs end at 2:30 PM daily. Please do not attempt to avoid the dismissal line by checking students out after 2:30.
⏰ Want to Avoid the First-Day Dismissal Rush?
The first week of dismissal requires a little extra patience as students, families, and staff learn their routines.
If you prefer not to wait in the initial carpool line, please consider arriving closer to 3:30 PM this week or utilizing bus transportation if your child is eligible.
After the first couple of weeks, our students and families typically have the process down, and we are usually able to have our campus cleared by approximately 3:30 PM.
Our goal is not simply to dismiss students quickly—it is to dismiss every child safely and to the correct person or transportation method. Your patience, cooperation, and attention to these procedures make a tremendous difference.
Thank you for helping us start the year safely and successfully. We can't wait to see our Rangers tomorrow morning!
