Jayden Johnson presented the importance of robotics in elementary school. Diversity and inclusion are vital to creating a robotics lab that invites all students to explore STEM. Mrs. Motley’s Robotics Team has accomplished just that. She is preparing her students for college & beyond. STEM is important at all levels.

For most county residents, the current 3.5 county tax costs them an estimated $6 a month. That's a cup of coffee at your fav coffee house! Vote March 5th!

If the 3.5 County tax is not renewed, the district will have to make hard decisions that will affect the quality of education provided to the students of Montgomery.

Mr. James Bevel, the Modern Manufacturing Instructor at Montgomery Preparatory Academy for Career Technologies (MPACT) helped stimulate Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) skills for the students at Seth Johnson Elementary School. Robotics in Manufacturing taught students about the applications of new technology in modern manufacturing. This was a great opportunity to introduce students to local manufacturers and potential careers in manufacturing. As Mr. Bevel stated the skills learned can be applied to whatever future career path they may explore.
