Please note: Central Office will be closed March 18–20.
We hope our students, staff, and families enjoy a safe and relaxing break! We look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Monday, March 23.

MPS will host a Special Education Job Fair this Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the MPS Leadership Center (720 Grove Street). MPS is seeking special education professionals for Pre-K–12. On-site interviews will be conducted. Please bring resumes, transcripts, and professional attire. New permanent full-time hires are eligible for a $3,000 recruitment bonus. Alabama is preparing to issue SUN Bucks again for the 2025-2026 school year. If your family has moved or your address has changed, please contact your child’s school to update their information in PowerSchool before March 2nd. The cards will be mailed to the address we have on file for your child. If your address hasn’t changed, no action is needed. For more information, click here.
