The Gathering of Eagles Foundation (GOEF) is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that aims to preserve the United States Air Force's legacy through the celebration of 75 years of Airpower and empowerment of youth in Alabama's River Region. GOEF collaborates with community leaders to provide educational opportunities for River Region youth and support community initiatives, including the Civilian Air Patrol and Starbase. The GOE Foundation provides annual scholarships to River Region youth interested in aviation and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. They have 3 different types of scholarships that promote flying, space, and STEM opportunities by sending kids to the Red Tail Academy, Space Camp, and a JROTC/CAP Summer Camp.
