Carver Elementary Arts Magnet School celebrated breast cancer awareness by participating in a cancer walk. Students, parents, faculty, and staff participated in the walk led by the Baby Wolverines Dance Team and Drum Line. Joy Blondheim, Co-Founder and Director of the Joy to Life Foundation, received a 200 dollars donation from Carver's PTA that sold Hope t-shirts as a fundraiser.

Brewbaker Technology Magnet High rising sophomore Trinity Watts-Nuckles introduced Rep. Terri Sewell at the Southern Youth Leadership Development Institute summer camp! Trinity also spent some time at the state Capitol learning about government proceedings as a Senate page!
