Good morning, BTW Parents,
A few reminders and updates:
1. Tomorrow is an Asynchronous Learning Day for BTW scholars in 9th through 11th grade. Scholars are expected to check Schoology for assignments. They should follow the Blue Day schedule and submit completed assignments by 11:59 P.M.
2. Semester II exams for grades 9-11 will begin Friday, May 15, 2026. The exam schedule is posted in Schoology.
3. Report cards will be issued to scholars on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. Parents will not be able to schedule report card pick-ups before this time. Report cards will be available for pick-up beginning Friday, May 22, 2026, and during summer office hours. Teachers and staff are participating in End-of -Year Closeouts on Thursday, May 21, 2026. Please be reminded that no report cards will be mailed.
4. Scholars that are required to attend summer school will be provided with their final summer school attendance letter and registration form on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. Registration forms are due back to BTW by no later than Friday, May 22, 2026. Forms may be returned via email to me @ courtney.giles@mps.k12.al.us.
Parents, please remind assist us in reminding scholars to only bring allowable items to school. Confiscated items (except for devices) are not to be returned. Please reference the MPS Student Conduct Manual 2025-2026 for details. Scholars must report in uniform daily.
