ARE YOU READY TO TAKE THE WORKKEYS ASSESSMENT IN NOVEMBER? DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF WORKKEYS?
WorkKeys is important because it assesses fundamental skills needed for job success, provides nationally recognized National Career Readiness Certification (NCRC) that employers value, and helps individuals and communities build a skilled workforce. WorkKeys validates essential workplace skills and can lead to better job prospects and higher salaries. For employers, it's a reliable tool for hiring, training, and developing a high-performance workforce by matching applicant skills to requirements. Some colleges require WorkKeys for their Masters' level candidacy.
YES, YOUR PERFORMANCE ON THE WORKKEYS MATTERS? ARE YOU PRACTICING?
Parents, we have provided Seniors with platforms via Clever/Progress Learning for WorkKeys practice. Please do not hesitate to let us know if you should need any assistance as we collaborative work to support the success of our Seniors on this very critical assessment.
Sincerely,
Dr. Ruffin

ATTN: Parents of scholars that are registered drivers...
In an effort to ensure we are following protocols and safety procedures for scholars that are registered drivers and must leave campus prior to dismissal for medical appointments, etc., please see the following:
1. Please call the office to make the request for your scholar's leave with Secretary Mrs. Tyynismaa or Attendance Clerk Mrs. Outlaw. Following, the designee will verify the necessary information accordingly.
2. Send a copy of the appointment slip and a copy of your identification via email to kristen.tyynismaa@mps.k12.al.us or nyree.outlaw@mps.k12.al.us
The aforementioned procedures must be followed and information verified before a scholar will be released. It is very important that the contact information in PowerSchool is correct for our verification processes.
Remember, we are here to SERVE, ensuring our scholars are safe at all times.
Sincerely,
Dr. Ruffin

I am resharing the BTW Handbook accordingly.
