The Piano Department participated in the Helen Boykin Piano Festival this past weekend. Scholar-artists dedicated significant time and effort to prepare and perform two memorized pieces, demonstrating both technical skill and a strong understanding of music theory. We are proud to recognize and congratulate the following scholar-artists for their amazing achievements at the festival.

You are invited to the BTW Theatre Department's production of Theatre Showcase 2026: FAME! This theme was selected and announced to the students in August of this school year, so I was so tickled when our Showcase Director, Mrs. Lambert, included the song Fame in BTW Showcase. Catch an encore of that song, award-winning performances, and newly performed pieces from Theatre students of all grade levels.
The 2026 Theatre Showcase will be held in the Black Box next Friday, February 6th at 6:30 PM and Saturday, February 7th at 2:30 PM.

Please do not hesitate to share this information with prospective BTW families. School tours are happening this week!!! We are looking forward to our future BTW families joining us following the parent meeting on Thursday, January 29th.
We thank you for all that you do!
Best,
Dr. Ruffin
