Coming October 2026 Parent University Montgomery Public Schools Office of Federal Programs

MONTGOMERY, AL — Montgomery Public Schools (MPS) is proud to announce the launch of Parent University, a new initiative facilitated by the MPS Office of Federal Programs designed to foster strong family-school-community partnerships across the district.

Guided by the motto "Empowering Parents. Elevating Students. Strengthening Communities," Parent University aims to equip families with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to actively support their children's educational journey and overall well-being.

The initiative seeks to serve up to 150 parent participants representing diverse grade levels and schools across MPS.
