There are 8 days allowed for parent excuses for the entire school year.

The original Dr excuse or parent excuse for absences is due within 3 school days of the student's return to school.*Emailed and faxed excuses are not allowed.

For absences not excused in the Student Conduct Manual please complete the Prior Approval of Absence and send or hand deliver to the Office of Student Services, along with the parent/guardian's photo ID, at least 2 weeks before the requested absence. Permission of absence is not guaranteed.
