Applications for substitute teachers are no longer being accepted. Information will be posted to this site when the application process is reopened.
Substitute teachers are employed on a day-to-day basis, based on need. In order to be a substitute, one must hold at least a high school diploma (or a GED). After all application information has been received, including references, etc., a screening interview will be scheduled by the Office of Human Resources. Upon receipt of a background clearance, applicants are taken through an orientation/training session before placement.

Substitute applications are accepted on a continuous basis. Applications will be filed andreviewed as needed for a period of two years after the application has been received. A new application must be submitted after the two year period to be considered for employment as a substitute teacher.
