Jobs are advertised as they become available. Jobs may be filled after being posted for 14 calendar days during the summer months or for seven calendar days during the school year. Supervisory positions are posted for 14 calendar days before filling throughout the calendar year.
Note: "If you are a current Montgomery Public Schools employee, you DO NOT need to fill out an application. Simply forward a letter of interest and a copy of your resume to the Department of Human Resources."
To apply for a position with Montgomery County Public Schools, you must complete an online application with the Alabama State Department of Education, www.alsde.edu/teachinalabama. This quick link will also route you to the Applicant Login.
On the Sign In page, scroll down to the bottom and click on "Create New Account". Teaching positions are listed as CERTIFIED, and Support positions are listed as CLASSIFIED. Once you complete your application, you may go to the job side and look for open positions. To view open positions, sign in on the applicant side and click on the "Job" tab OR click on the type of job under "View Available Jobs", then click on "Search by District", then click on School Board District 5, then click on Montgomery County. Jobs will be listed on this next screen. If a job interests you, click on "Click Here to Login and Apply".
