  • Superintendent Ann Roy MooreDr. Ann Roy Moore, superintendent of Montgomery Public Schools, has been an educator for more than four decades.

    Since the Montgomery County Board of Education chose her to lead the district in 2018, Dr. Moore has overseen many positive changes, including improvements in academic achievement and a stronger financial foundation. She remains committed to ensuring that every student receives a high-quality education and that MPS continues moving forward.


  • The Department of Special Education will conduct information sessions to increase parental engagement with
    parents of students with disabilities. All sessions will be held via ZOOM at 

    Parents, guardians, and other individuals with an interest in the education of a child receiving special education
    services in Montgomery Public Schools are invited to attend/participate in parental engagement sessions to provide
    input and learn more about special education services provided by our school district.
