As principal of Martin Luther King Jr., Elementary School (MLK), it is my pleasure to welcome everyone back for another great year. We are all excited to have students back in our classroom and hallways; filling them with energy and enthusiasm for learning. We have been busy getting ready for another exciting school year.
This year our theme will be “Great Things Happen Here!” We are committed to providing a safe and exciting learning environment for all students. Remember, we need your continued support.
This year, we will have set the following goals for the MLK Community:
- Make everyone feel welcomed, connected, and part of the MLK family.
- Increase student academic abilities, attendance, and engagement.
- Cultivate the home-school relationship.
- Empower all community Stakeholders.
- Plan monthly community programs and activities.
