    Sporting events can and should be opportunities for fun and fellowship in a family-friendly environment. We have a responsibility to do everything we can to ensure that these events are safe for everyone attending. That is why we are setting forth some guidelines.

    Wear a Christmas Sweater/shirt and antlers with uniform bottom


    Friday, December 16, 2022- The Polar Express- Wear school-appropriate pajamas


    December 15- You are invited to join us for Donuts with Dads. Thursday, December 15, 2022, from 9:00 am- 10:00 am. Please return the RSVP form by Monday, December 12, 2022. You and your child can enjoy donuts, fresh-brewed coffees, and juice along with other Highland Gardens dads. Dads may begin arriving at 8:30 am to check-in. Proper identification must be presented.     December 16- 2nd Nine Week Grading Period Ends

    December 19- January 2- Students and teachers will not report to school. Christmas Break

    January 2023- HAPPY NEW YEAR! 

    January 2- MPS Schools and Offices are closed 

    January 3- Professional Development Day for Teachers 

    January 4- Students will return to school 

    January 5- 2nd Nine Week Report Card Day

    January 16- Martin Luther King Day

    February 14-20- Random Acts of Kindness Week 

    February 20- President's Day (Students and teachers will NOT report to school) 

    March 2023

    March 2- Read Across America Day 

    March 10- 3rd Nine Week Grading Period Ends 

    March 16- 3rd Nine Week Report Card Day 

    March 20-24- SPRING BREAK (Students and Teachers will NOT report to school)

    April 7- Asynchronous Learning Day (Students will NOT report to school) 

    May 2023

    May 25- Report Card Day/Last Day for Students  

    May 26- Last Day for MPS Teachers
