As many MPS families continue, their experience having their child attend school virtually –even parents with experience can use some fresh ideas to start the new school year. Here are proven tips from teachers and parents of virtual school students to help your child get ready!
It has been an unprecedented year for our students, staff, and parents. Welcome back to our returning students, and we welcome our newcomers to the McKee family (TIGER NATION). I encourage you to become involved by volunteering or visiting the school when you can. I want to take this time to say thank you for entrusting your child’s educational growth to me and the outstanding staff at McKee Middle School. It is with great pleasure that I welcome you as part of our educational family to the 2021-2022 school year.
We have divided each grade level into two collegiate teams. The sixth-grade teams are JSU and LSA, seventh-grade teams are Grambling and Princeton, and eighth-grade teams are Auburn and Tuskegee. Each team will be comprised of an English, Science, Math, and Social Studies teacher and will share the same students during the day.
Thank you in advance for your enthusiastic support in ensuring your child’s success at McKee this year, and I look forward to meeting you soon. Please visit our website to stay up to date on upcoming events and check teachers’ calendars for academic updates.
It’s great time to be a Tiger!
