Montgomery Public Schools require verification in several areas to determine the status of an applicant as well as the rate of pay.

Employees' salaries are based on years of experience in public schools and certification rank/highest degree recognized by ALSDE.   All verification forms must be submitted to Human Resources prior to determining salary.    The EXP  form will only be accepted by the school system via the United States Postal Service. To prevent processing delays, please ensure that the form is sent to each public school system where you have worked and that it is completed in its entirety.

A request for an EXP to be sent to a university or a school system on your behalf should be made to exp@mps.k12.al.us.
