Greetings,

Parents, Students, and Community Stakeholders,

It has been a joy to welcome you to the Morningview Mustang family for the 2024-2025 school term. Morningview Elementary School is a neighborhood school that opened its doors in 1950. It serves approximately 500 hundred students from Kindergarten through fifth grade.

As the principal of Morningview Elementary School, I would like to welcome you to the "view" where failure is not an option. At Morningview, we open our hearts and doors to you. We work together to create a positive environment that is conducive for learning. The Mustang family which includes the faculty, staff, students, parents, and community stakeholders strives for high academic achievement. It is our desire for all students to reach their fullest educational potential here at Morningview.

In addition to striving for high academic achievement, we also focus on providing extracurricular activities that can help guide them in college or career choices. The extracurricular activities offered to the students are track, choral, a dance team, leadership ambassadors, peer mediators, and bicycle wheelies. Due to the commitment of the faculty and staff, all of these activities are coordinated by teachers on a voluntary basis.

As the instructional leader at the “View,” I welcome you.

Sincerely,

Kenyetta D. Miller

Our Motto:

It is with great pleasure that I introduce myself as the Assistant Principal of Morningview Elementary School (MES). My name is Charlotte Clark, and I am both honored and thrilled to be a part of this vibrant and nurturing educational community.

As your Assistant Principal, my primary goal is to support our students in their journey to excel academically and behaviorally. I firmly believe that a well-rounded education goes beyond the classroom, encompassing character development, social skills, and a commitment to good citizenship.

I am passionately committed to the success of our students, not only in their academic pursuits but also in their personal growth. I believe that by fostering a positive and supportive learning environment, we can empower our students to reach their full potential and become successful and productive members of society. It's not just about getting good grades; it's about preparing our students for a bright future in which they can make a positive impact on the world around them.

At MES, we understand the importance of a strong partnership between parents, students, and our school community. Working together, we can create an environment where every child thrives. I look forward to collaborating with each and every one of you, and I encourage open and transparent communication throughout the year.

As we embark on this educational journey, I want you to remember, "There is more with MES." This represents our commitment to providing a well-rounded, enriching educational experience that goes beyond textbooks and classrooms. It reflects our dedication to nurturing the whole child, helping them discover their strengths, and encouraging them to dream big.

I am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead, and I can't wait to get to know you and your children better. Together, we will ensure that MES continues to be a place where students thrive and succeed.

Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions, concerns, or ideas you may have. Let's make this school year a fantastic and enriching experience for all our students.

With warm regards,

Charlotte Clark, Assistant Principal
