Hello, I am Mrs. Yolanda Huntley, the Library Media Specialist at Sidney Lanier High School.I moved to Montgomery to attend Thee Alabama State University and never left.  I love living in this wonderful city full of such rich history. 

 I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Master of Education degree from ASU.  After many years of teaching English, I began my pursuit of a degree in Library Science through The University of West Alabama.In 2011, I became the library media specialist at Sidney Lanier High School.  As I have evolved over the years, I know my purpose is to assist students and teachers in utilizing information.  I am passionate about ensuring that students are effective users and producers of ideas and information through information literacy and reading advocacy.
