Counseling Department
Philosophy
Our counseling philosophy is that every child should be given the opportunity to grow emotionally, socially, and academically. We believe that all individuals have a right to equality of opportunity, regardless sex, religion, color, national origin, or handicapping condition. Students should be engaged in Preparation for Career and College readiness through the consistent individual planning and the counseling curriculum. The School Counselors will provide comprehensive, developmentally-appropriate, and designed to reach every student. When developing and implementing such a program, Brewbaker Counselors will need to be well-versed in the holistic education of the students’ emotional, social, personal, and academic well being.
