Montgomery Public Schools’ ACCESS/Virtual School Program will begin accepting applications for the 2021-2022 school year May 3 through May 21, 2021. The program is open to all students in grades 9-12 who are on track to graduate with their cohort and have passed all coursework.

The MPS ACCESS/Virtual School Program utilizes a flexible learning model where students can take all the coursework that is required in a traditional classroom setting, online. They receive an MPS Chromebook and instructions on how to navigate in an online learning environment. They also have the ability to choose from a variety of elective classes, including foreign languages.

Students are required to report to the Virtual Program Lab one day a week where they take proctored assessments (subject area). Applicants for the program should be organized, self-motivated, able to manage their time well, and comfortable using technology.
