Bio:

Barbara Sankey was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama.  She earned degrees from Auburn University-Montgomery, where she majored in biology and then earned her master’s in secondary education there.

After college, she taught in Dallas County and Lowndes County.  After moving back to Montgomery, she was employed as a teacher, Schoolwide Instructional Assistant, and Assistant Principal.
