About the School Counselor

I am Cheryl L. Whetstone and  I have a B.S. in History Education and M.Ed  in School Counseling from “the” Alabama State University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, Mental Health First Aider (Youth), and Certified Career Service Provider. 

This is my 12th year in education and 9th year as Professional School Counselor here at Catoma Elementary School. I have had the  opportunity to work with a variety of students from diverse backgrounds, which has given me invaluable insight.
