Below are the board approved attendance zones for Montgomery Public Schools. Students must attend the school for which they are zoned. Variances are only allowed in extreme circumstances and must be cleared through the Office of Student Services, 334-223-6850.

These are the draft proposals for zoning changes for Montgomery Public Schools. Two public forums will be held to discuss these changes and parents are encouraged to attend. The meetings be held Monday March 23 at Blount Elementary and Thursday March 26 at Brewbaker Junior High. Both meetings will begin at 6:00. The board is expected to vote on the changes to the zones in April.

You may also send your comments and suggestions to zones@mps.k12.al.us. All comments must be received by March 31.
The Montgomery County Board of Education usually meets the 4th Tuesday of every month. Meetings are usually at 6 p.m. in the Board of Education Auditorium.

Relate these standards to your grade level Alabama Course of Study, English language Arts and to the SAT-10. DOLs should contain content appropriate for your students. The chart on the following pages gives more specific content information.
Plan and pace your DOLs. Cover all of the above objectives prior to the spring test dates: SAT-10 (grades 7 and 9) and AHSGE (grades 9, 10, 11, 12). Use the checklist to keep record of content covered prior to the test dates.
