Wi-Fi School Buses
Montgomery Public Schools (MPS) has rolled out six local school buses to serve as Wi-Fi hotspots for MPS students. The rollout of the Wi-Fi buses is a part of MPS’s blended learning model developed to aid students during COVID-19. Starting Wednesday, April 22, we will add four more buses to our Wi-Fi hotspot schedule.

Buses providing Wi-Fi are in the following locations now:

-- The parking lot of Winn-Dixie on U.S. 31
-- Sikes and Cohn's on U.S. 231
-- Cleveland Avenue YMCA (every week on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday)
-- The BP gas station on Union Academy Road and Alabama 94
-- Gibbs Village Boys and Girls Club
-- ASU football stadium

Additional locations as of Wednesday, April 22:

-- Sheridan Heights Community Center
-- Madison Park Community Center
-- Circle K at the Waugh and Cecil exit
-- Old True Divine Church on Virginia Loop Road

From 5 to 7 p.m., we will have buses at LAMP High School and ASU's Football Stadium parking lot.

With the exception of the Cleveland Avenue YMCA, each bus will be available Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Please help us maintain our buses. We want to make sure they're not damaged so that they will be ready for the upcoming school year. Please note that bus drivers will accompany the buses but will not be able to assist you. If you experience technical difficulties, please contact MPS Technology Support at 334-223-6811.

Thank you to Mayor Steven Reed, TechMGM and our dedicated staff for working to provide this resource.

Remember to be well, be safe, be kind, and look for the yellow school bus!
