Guidance and Counseling is an integral part of each school's total educational program. It is developmental by design and includes sequential activities organized and implemented by certified school counselors with the support of teachers, administrators, students, parents, and support personnel. The School Counseling program is an essential component of the total instructional program through which all students have maximum opportunity for their development.

The program is designed to meet the needs of all students by helping them to acquire competencies in knowledge of self and others, career development, and educational development, and educational development. These goals are addressed:
