Magnet Program

Magnet applications will be online this year. Applicants may only complete the electronic application once. No changes can be made after the electronic application has been submitted. Parents without internet access can go to their first-choice magnet school for assistance before the application deadline. 

Please note: Applicants who choose to apply to more than one magnet school, must rank their selections beginning with 1st choice.

Before beginning the magnet application process, parents are encouraged to learn as much about the magnet schools as possible. For interested applicants to learn more about our magnet schools, each of the magnet schools will be providing tours.


The Montgomery Public Schools Application period has closed as of 1-31-2020 12:00 pm CST.  We are working to process all of the applications as quickly as possible.

*Magnet application transcripts must be submitted to the Magnet Office no later than 4:00pm CST on February 14, 2020.  Mailed transcripts must be postmarked no later than February 14, 2020*

We anticipate running the initial magnet lottery in April.
